How to Reach your Goals

I watched a youtube video today on how to change your life in 24 hours. It is from that televangelist personality Mike Murdock. Mike is somewhat of a controversial figure if you look into his bio or do some google searches, but the man does have some good content with regard to improving your life and or making positive changes in your life.

Are you willing to learn from someone who uses questionable business tactics or is maybe ethically or morally wrong? This is the problem I was having for some time after consuming some of his material.

He made a video talking about how most people focus on their past and on their future in terms of wanting to change their life. But he says you should create a dominant goal for each day and ‘prophesy’ that goal out loud each morning. The main point being that if you cannot have one successful day and then eventually a string of successful days, how are you going to ever change your life over a year ?

It is a good message that I think can help a lot of people including myself. Focusing too much on the past or too much or too far out in the future can lead to ‘bright shiny object’ symdrome where you get trapped in an endless cycle of inaction.

So lets focus on having just one good day and set a dominant goal every morning.
